Background: Paras Healthcare, which runs hospitals under the Paras Health brand, opened its initial public offering on 21 October 2026, with listing scheduled for 28 October.
What was reported
Ahead of the issue, the Gurugram-based company raised ₹652.5 crore from anchor investors, allotting shares at ₹693 each, the top of its ₹660–693 price band. The ₹1,450 crore IPO combines a ₹500 crore fresh issue, mainly to repay debt, with a ₹950 crore offer for sale by existing shareholders. The company cut the issue from ₹1,800 crore planned earlier and operates eight hospitals across five states and one Union Territory.
What this means for your clinic
Listed and investor-backed chains are expanding beyond metros into the cities where many independent specialists practise. They compete on brand, location and online visibility. For a specialist clinic, the practical answer is to be easy to find and easy to trust online: an accurate Google Business Profile, clear procedure pages and quick responses to enquiries.
